About My Clients
We specialize in dysfunctional communication patterns, victims of trauma, substance abuse, LGBTQ+, blended families, PTSD, adjustment/mood disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, COVID-19, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. However, we are not limited to these conditions. Individuals, couples, and families achieve their goals, resolve conflict, increase their life satisfaction, overcome depression, anxiety, and grief, and strengthen parent and child relationships.
My Background and Approach
As a recognized scholar, teacher, and culturally competent expert, I build upon my work as a protective services worker, trainer in the State of Michigan Department of Human Services, and my experience as the Director of the National Child Welfare Training Center at the University of Michigan to guide my clients through the therapeutic process.
