About My Clients
A lot of my clients look like they have it together, and are exhausted by that. They carry things that are hard to name: old relational wounds , anxiety showing as achievement, and shame produced early on by family, religion, or culture. I work with adults navigating attachment trauma, perfectionism, identity, and grief that comes with religious trauma. I also work with LGBTQIA+, ENM, polyamorous and kink-aware folks who are tired of educating their therapist about their lifestyle choices.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under supervision with Jennifer Galske Reid, M.S. LPC-S, with experience in relationships, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and trauma-informed practice. If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, I offer a grounded space to explore what matters most to you. I work with individuals, couples, and non-traditional relationship structures navigating life transitions, religious trauma, and intimacy concerns. My approach blends Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to you — whether that means healing past wounds, strengthening communication, or building a life that feels more aligned. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy works best when it's built on collaboration. You are the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you access what you already know while filling in what's harder to see alone. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up fully without editing themselves first. That means affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, and for those in non-traditional relationship structures, not as a specialty disclaimer, but as a baseline expectation for how I work with every client. I am committed to creating an environment where all identities, relationships, and ways of moving through the world are not just tolerated but genuinely respected. Healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest, and I take that seriously.
