Losing a loved one, having a life dream shattered or learning something about yourself or a family member that shakes you to the core can feel incredibly isolating. But major losses in life can also open doors to big transformations. That's what therapy is for, it can help you get to the other side.
My Background and Approach
I’m trauma focused therapist with a deep commitment to learning, listening and teaching as much as I can about the way that our minds, bodies and hearts respond to stress. My philosophy is inspired by the fundamental belief that we’re all inherently primed to move towards what’s healthy and loving. Sometimes we get off track adapting to stressful work, society or family environments, trying to survive painful life events.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
People can find their deepest fulfillment and growth in response to (not just in spite of) failures, adversity and heartbreaks. I'm a trauma therapist with a collaborative, curious, affirming, warm, and non-judgemental style. It's brave to face your fears and shame head-on in therapy. It's also worth it.
