About My Clients
My clients are people carrying stories that feel heavy, tangled, or long outgrown. Many are navigating trauma, anxiety, or the ripple effects of things that didn’t start with them. Some are moving through systems or court-involved spaces, trying to stay steady in uncertain waters. I work well with those who feel worn down but still curious about change. Together we slow things down, listen for patterns, and gently make room for something new to take shape.
My Background and Approach
I’m a clinical social worker with experience in trauma, anxiety, and forensic settings, including work with court involved individuals and families moving through complex systems. I also serve rural communities in Eastern Kentucky where strength is often something people had to learn before they were ready for it. My approach is trauma informed, person centered, and gently somatic. I pay attention to the whole story, not just symptoms, and to how life experiences live in the body, in patterns, and in the ways we try to get through hard things. For clients, this means a steady and collaborative space where things can slow down enough to feel understandable. We make room for what has been carried for a long time, explore what is keeping you stuck, and begin to build a way forward that feels more grounded, more possible, and less lonely.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m guided by compassion, curiosity, adventure, freedom, and authenticity. I try to live and work in a way that honors those values, staying open to people’s stories without trying to shrink them into something simpler or more acceptable. I believe people deserve the right to be comfortably and fully themselves, no matter where they come from, what they have been through, or the identities they carry. Who you are is not something to justify. In my work, I care about creating space where people can explore that freedom more fully, reconnect with what feels true, and move through life with a little more ease, honesty, and self-trust.
