About My Clients
I believe the most important parts of therapy are the client's autonomy and our therapeutic relationship! I have worked with clients experiencing relationship issues, challenges with neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors, grief, and panic. I work hard to build a strong connection and foster a space where we can work together to improve your situation and growth!
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology, a certificate in Addictions and Concurrent Disorders, and a certificate in Social Service Work. I have previously worked at addiction clinics, homeless shelters, and food banks to support vulnerable people within my community. I have been practicing since May 2024 and believe in life long learning! I am passionate about mental health and helping my clients find the path that is right for them. I regularly attend workshops, supervision, and training opportunities to gather more tools to benefit clients experiencing an array of struggles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should never be a "one-size-fits-all" approach, I incorporate strategies and beliefs from many therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems Theory, Emotions-Focused Therapy, and more.
