About My Clients
I strive to provide a safe space for you to express all of who you are, without fear of judgement or fear of rejection. Our therapeutic relationship is very important in helping you feel safe and grow. My therapeutic style allows clients to lead the way and focus on whatever may be holding them back in living their most authentic life.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s in clinical social work from Seattle University in 2022, and have had 3 years of experience in community mental health with both adolescents and adults. I also have experience in treating substance use disorders and addiction in all age groups. I always utilize a trauma-informed approach and my therapeutic method focuses on radical acceptance, mindfulness, and distress tolerance skills. I especially enjoy working with people wanting to explore their substance use, anxiety, and trauma, and I also specialize in women's issues and body image. I utilize a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach which can be extremely helpful in navigating disordered eating and body image issues. I currently offer Telehealth sessions and Walk and Talk sessions where we can meet out in the community within 10 miles of 98055.
