About My Clients
I aim to make therapy a comfortable, safe, and creative space where you can show up fully as yourself. I specialize in working with people who have experienced grief, sexual trauma/abuse, late diagnosed ADHD & autism, OCD, and people exploring their identity. I love working with artists and creatives (visual art, writing, acting, dancing, etc.) experiencing creative struggles. I also really love working with teens! These years are so confusing, awkward, exciting, lonely, & everything in between.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply personalized. I operate from the belief that therapy is a collaboration. You are the expert of your own experience. I am here to provide insight, knowledge, and work together with you. I approach each client with patience, interest, and compassion. I draw from different approaches such as psychodynamic, relational, compassion-focused, strengths-based, person-centered, and narrative therapy. I operate from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens. We might work well together if… You’re looking for a genuine relationship with your therapist where you can be yourself. You want a therapist who sees you as a whole person with lived experience. You need time to open up to people. (I am very patient and understand that therapy can feel new and a little awkward) You want to be able to joke with your therapist. You relate to and find meaning in movies, tv shows, books, and music and want to talk about it!
