About My Clients
I love supporting kids, teens, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in old patterns. Many of my clients are sensitive, overthinkers, or cycle-breakers trying to heal from trauma, family stress, or self-doubt. If you want a calm, real, and compassionate space to feel understood, learn new tools, and grow into your best self, you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
The tools I share with you are ones I’ve gathered and refined from years of working with kids, teens, and young adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in old patterns. My goal is for you to walk away with simple, real-life skills you can use anywhere whether that’s grounding your body, calming your thoughts, or understanding your emotions in a clearer way. My style is warm, honest, and very collaborative. We’ll start with whatever is weighing on you right now and help you feel more in control of your reactions and your nervous system. Because of my trauma-informed background, I’ll help you understand what’s happening inside your brain and body when you shut down, spiral, or go into survival mode, and how to shift out of it. Over time, you’ll build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of who you are, so the same patterns don’t keep showing up.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a big believer in breaking cycles, creating safe spaces, and helping people reconnect with who they really are. As a Black therapist, it matters deeply to me that clients especially kids, teens, and young adults feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. I’m passionate about reducing mental health stigma in BIPOC communities and making therapy feel more accessible, relatable, and human. I care about trauma-informed care, mental health advocacy, and helping families heal together. I show up with compassion, patience, and a calm energy because I know how hard it can be to tell your story. Outside of therapy, I love community work, supporting youth programs, and cheering on anyone trying to become the healthiest version of themselves. If you value honesty, growth, and a space where you can just be you, we’ll get along well.
