About My Clients
Swathi is enthusiastic about working with adolescent and adult individuals with a variety of presenting concerns such as anxiety, managing stress, trauma, grief, sleep difficulties and chronic medical conditions. Swathi is also interested in supporting individuals with concerns around compulsive behaviors, depression, and gender, and sexuality.
My Background and Approach
Working from an integrative perspective, she utilizes CBT and ACT to formulate treatment plans that work best to create a safe, healing, and effective therapeutic environment for her patients. Currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from William James College, she is focusing on an emphasis in health psychology and children and families. Prior to joining the BHBH team, Swathi trained at Gibbs School administering neuropsychological assessments and McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute providing Exposure Therapy. In addition to her role at BHBH, Swathi is actively training at UMass Memorial Health. There, she works with young children diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and their families. She hopes to build a supportive and comforting space as they navigate living with a chronic health condition during adolescence.
