I work with adults and young adults done performing wellness and ready to actually change. You don't need more insight. You need to move.
My Background and Approach
You're not here because you lack insight. You're here because knowing better hasn't been enough, and you're tired of understanding the pattern without being able to break it. That's where I come in. I don't just talk about your thoughts. I work with what's happening in your body, your nervous system, and the parts of you that took over long before you had a say. My approach is bottom-up, meaning we start with what you're feeling, not just what you're thinking. I use parts work, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and somatic-informed techniques to help you understand why you do what you do and actually shift it. You'll leave our work with real tools, not just awareness. You'll know how to interrupt the patterns that have been running the show, regulate when things get activated, and start making choices from the version of you that isn't operating on autopilot. I'm direct, I'm honest, and I'll meet you where you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a second-generation Mexican American therapist in a biracial marriage, and those aren't just details on a form. They shape how I understand identity, belonging, code-switching, and the weight of intergenerational expectations. If any of that resonates, you don't have to explain it to me. I know what it's like to sit in therapy and wonder if your therapist actually gets it. I built my practice to be the space I needed and didn't always find. I believe people don't break because something is wrong with them. They break because they learned survival strategies that stopped working, and nobody taught them what comes next. That's learnable. That's changeable. At any age. If you've been the one everyone leans on but nobody checks in on, I see you. I welcome all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences into my practice.
