My Background and Approach
I have over 12 years of experience working with adults and young adults, specializing in issues dealing with self-esteem/self-worth challenges, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, suicide prevention and transitions in life. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming treatment to individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-binary, questioning or queer. I also work with the parents and loved ones of LGBTQ+ individuals seeking additional guidance or support. I have a holistic view of treatment and use a mix of evidence-based techniques including; cognitive-behavioral frameworks, mindfulness-based techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and emotional intelligence development. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully, and define what happiness really means to you. I believe developing an increased awareness, personal growth, positive change, and emotional healing is possible!
