The change process can feel overwhelming at times, but, I am a firm believer that there isn't any concern that is too big or too small to solve. I am here to assist you in conquering any and all of the life adversities you may be facing! If you are willing to dive deep into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, I will work to help you gain the insights you need establish healthy ways of coexisting with, not fight against, your life circumstances.
My Background and Approach
I received my doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology in 2013 from the University of La Verne. Through my education and years of clinical experiences in various diverse settings, I have been extensively trained in providing counseling through a multicultural lens. I have a passion for connecting with others and meeting clients where they are at. I do not operate from a one-size-fits-all approach! Collaboratively, you and I will create a treatment plan that will address each of your unique needs. My areas of specialization includes (but are not limited to) grief and loss, resilience factors, trauma, racial/ethnic identify development, self-exploration, relational patterns/interpersonal relatedness, family of origin issues, assertiveness training, disability related issues, self-esteem, adjustment/life transitions, and academic concerns. Rooted in trust, honesty, and transparency, this will be a safe space for you to think & feel out loud!
