About My Clients
I work with a wide range of individuals and diagnoses including psychosis, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression and PTSD. I am an EMDR certified therapist and use a combination of Cognitve Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with clients to address, manage and alleviate symptoms. I also provide clinical supervision.
My Background and Approach
I have both a BSW and MSW in Social Work. I am a person centered provider and believe progress begins and trust is established with meeting people where they are at. I observe, offer feedback and guide within the theraputic environment, trusting my clients to be their own best historians and personal advocates. I practice from a place of curiosity and not judgement. I believe I have as much to learn from my clients as they may potentially learn from me.
