I have over 10 years experience doing SFBT ranging from individual, family, and couples approach as well as in emergency departments, community agencies, and schools. I aim to help you identify a goal, create actionable steps to get there, and intuitive ways to remove challenges/barriers along the way.
I am trained in TEAM CBT, which is an evidence based approach to recognizing behavior or thought patterns that do not serve you, and provides techniques and tools to address and change these behaviors.
I am level 2 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This means I aim to first understand your relationship, both of your goals for the future, and together we identify conflicts and give everyone tools to work on to improve your feelings of connection, future oriented goals, and ability to manage conflict.
Do you feel like you can't stop your mind from thinking; or just wish you could turn your mind off? Do you ever get lost in the worst possible case scenarios and feel like there's no way to escape them? I work with individuals to identify the source of their anxieties, learn their own patterns, and build techniques through that allow you to feel in control again.
Are you struggling with your gender, sexuality or who you are rather than who people want you to be? I aim to help you explore who you authentically are, what matters to you, and how to build your self confidence. My work centers around helping you first know what it means to be YOU, and then how to love that person unapologetically.
Are you and your partner feeling stuck or having the same argument over and over? Do you feel like you keep missing each other, or that you are constantly trying and things don't have the same spark or connection as before? I'd love to help you identify issues within your relationship, and help you learn how to reconnect, improve your communication, and feel capable and confident in addressing conflicts in the future.
