My Background and Approach
My work involves a person-centered dynamic, which is trauma-sensitive, culture-sensitive, and affirming. Treatment may include psychodynamic and behavioral therapies, with mind-body interventions. My goal is to provide individualized care based on your personal needs, experiences, and goals. Finding a therapist who fits your expectations, and can provide that protected environment, can be a challenge. I hope to offer you that space to explore your thoughts, experiences, and emotions, through my passion for helping people.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes we have experiences that limit us, and contribute to not feeling affirmed, validated and at our best. Finding the best way to cope can be hard, and we may not always have the support we need to make it through those tough times. Having someone to talk to about wellbeing damaging issues could be the piece that changes the process from struggle to freedom.
