About My Clients

Self awareness is often the key to improving and progressing in changing behavior. ideally, being open to being more mindful and curious would only help to connect better with yourself and others. Being willing to face difficult emotions and talk about them is hard. I hope to provide a space where you feel as though you are accepted and can be honest with yourself. In this, my goal is to help you connect with yourself, heal and continue to thrive

My Background and Approach

I have an extensive background in the creative arts and have worked in organizations for half of my life. I've worked with families and groups. My pleasure lies in the rewards of bringing people together. I employ psychodynamic techniques, but also find myself in spaces of focusing on attachment styles, as well as solution focused therapy and structural therapy. I continue learning all the time and value systemic therapy approaches as well. In treating anxiety, CBT techniques are also used to reframe difficult thoughts and emotions. In group and family therapy, dynamics are explored and taken into account. It is here where attachment styles are formed. Genograms are often used.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a huge supporter for racial and social justice for BIPOC folks. I am a Christian as well but am queer allied.
