About My Clients
I specialize in supporting women through breakups and divorce, the weight of motherhood, and midlife transitions. I draw from advanced training in EMDR, Somatic Attachment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1. I help you get underneath the symptom, to what is actually holding you back, and move toward a calmer, more authentic life.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is a collaborative partnership. You are the expert on your own life; I bring presence, candor, and tools that help the nervous system catch up to what the mind already knows. I offer a safe, affirming space for all gender and sexual identities. Reach out for a free consultation if you’d like to see whether we’re a good fit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up in West Virginia, the daughter of a coal miner. In my family, mining and miners’ rights were not an abstraction. They were the daily reality of work that is hard, necessary, and mostly invisible to the people who benefit from it. That history shapes how I sit with clients. I respect the gravity of trauma and transitions. I don’t rush to reframe it, spiritualize it, or tidy it up. And I believe something my father’s work taught me early: what forms under pressure is not only damage. Given the right conditions, pressure is also what forms something extraordinary. That belief is why my practice is organized around the idea of being rooted: getting underneath the symptom to what is actually holding you, and working there.
