About My Clients
My clients are often people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s underneath the struggle, build practical tools for change, and create a space where you can feel genuinely understood and safe.
My Background and Approach
Sometimes life throws you off the path you expected. Sometimes it’s just a speed bump, but sometimes it's a full blown, emotional sinkhole. No matter if you're reeling from a big disruption or quietly struggling under the surface, you might find therapy can be a place to land, reflect, and figure out your next step. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, mood swings, overwhelm, and many things in between. My approach is warm, collaborative, and gently challenging. I’ll help you untangle your thoughts and feelings so you can move toward feeling grounded, capable, and like yourself. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy, always tailored to your needs and preferences. Whether we’re doing worksheets, talking things out, or sitting in silence together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and respected. I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, and I think good therapy should be tailored to the person sitting in front of me. I believe people are capable of meaningful change, even when changing old patterns can feel incredibly difficult. I believe every person deserves to feel safe and welcome in the therapy room. I celebrate and welcome people of all identities, backgrounds, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, family structures, and lived experiences. You don't need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. My goal is to create a space that feels warm, honest, collaborative, and judgment-free, where we can tackle difficult things while still allowing room for humor, humanity, and hope.
