My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. With over 5 years of experience, I specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including couples and family therapy. My additional training includes “Handle with Care” and CPR. My approach incorporates faith and spirituality to promote recovery and healing. I am passionate about helping clients achieve a sense of belonging, which I believe is foundational to psychological well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to breaking down cultural barriers surrounding mental health and providing compassionate care to diverse populations. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust is essential for healing. My values center around empowering clients to find wholeness and belonging in their lives. Outside of my professional work, I am actively involved in community service through organizations like Walk for Life and Hope for Women. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can thrive, and I continuously seek growth to become a better counselor every day.
