My Background and Approach

I graduated from North Carolina State University (go Wolfpack!) in 2016 with my Masters of Social Work (MSW). I enjoy working with individuals ages 12 to 60 in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, life changes, and grief. I have been nicknamed "the challenger" at work due to my engaged style of therapy and reputation of holding people accountable. I also use a holistic approach to take into consideration how the various aspects of daily life affect our mental health. I utilize systems framework and a trauma-informed lens. I am LGBTQ+ friendly. I am dedicated to being culturally competent and continue to seek support to better serve my clients. I am currently NOT accepting new clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My goal is to help YOU live your best life by fostering connection and growth. Therapy can be intimidating, but I want you to know you're not alone. I provide an empathic, non-judgmental environment to explore life's challenges and develop skills to overcome them. My approach to therapy is built on relationships, compassion, and transparency.
