My Background and Approach
With 26 years of experience, I have supported adults presenting with mental health needs and/or chronic illnesses; ensuring needs are met in the most appropriate setting. A warm and empathic environment is provided to increase your comfort and confidence in sharing your life experiences. I believe in a client-centered approach, exploring all facets of an individual's life; highlighting individual strengths to achieve personal goals. Collaborating with families and coordinating care with other providers is emphasized. Motivational interviewing, CBT, & solution-focused techniques are employed.
