About My Clients

You may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, under pressure—or just lost. Maybe you’re navigating a life transition, restless with anxiety, or trying to keep it together while feeling brokenhearted underneath. I work well with adults who desire space to breathe, make sense of what’s happening, and feel less alone. Together, we’ll slow things down, explore what matters most, and help you find steadier ground.

My Background and Approach

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by years of overseas and volunteer work, where I witnessed deep pain, resilience, and the human need for connection. Those experiences led me to pursue specialized training in treating trauma and understanding how our past shapes our present. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, believing it’s the foundation for meaningful change. In our work together, we’ll take a collaborative approach—gently exploring entrenched patterns, honoring your story, and holding space for new possibilities. I believe people are created for connection, and that the counseling space offers a unique kind of relationship—one that can bring clarity and hope, even when those feel out of reach. My style is warm and compassionate, offering steadiness and care alongside thoughtful questions and gentle challenges. Together we can consider where you've come from, where you are and where you want to go as we imagine together a hopeful future.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe each person has inherent dignity and value and is wired for relationship. We’re shaped by our life experiences—especially early, significant relationships—and we carry longings and beliefs about ourselves, others and the world that can hold us back from fully showing up. I believe people get stuck in patterns that once helped them cope but are no longer working, and yet people have capacity for growth. Healing happens in the context of safe, honest relationships—where we’re heard, held, and accompanied. Therapy can offer that kind of space: one where you’re met with care, curiosity, and compassion as you move toward clarity, freedom, and deeper connection.
