About My Clients
Are you seeking help to figure out why life is just not working the way you had always hoped? Do you wish you had closer connections with family or friends? Work may be going okay, but something is missing in your life. Do you wonder what’s wrong when everything appears so normal on the outside, but inside you are lonely and confused? Do you come from a dysfunctional and/or alcoholic home? Are you unsure of your feelings and why you feel the way you do?
My Background and Approach
Clients come for help because they struggle with depression and anxiety. They want to stop the cycle of dysfunction because they notice that they are sounding and acting like their family. In therapy, we'll partner together, applying the tools, experiencing encouragement, and holding a place of accountability in order to make changes that last. It is such a privilege to go on a healing journey with clients and hear their personal stories. When those stories come from a place of pain and dysfunction, life is viewed from a distorted lens. Join me in exploring and learning how to challenge, change, or discard old beliefs in order that you may move forward in life, writing the next chapter of a healthier story. I will also provide faith-based, Christian counseling if it is requested.
