About My Clients
You've been thinking about seeing a counselor for some time now, but didn't know where to start, or you never felt fully comfortable making that leap. You're ready to learn about yourself, heal from old wounds, and move forward with healthy coping strategies and boundaries. You're ready get to know yourself, and to start trusting your intuition. I'm here to support you on your journey.
My Background and Approach
I have been trained in a variety of methods for counseling, and I predominantly work from a person-centered perspective with influences from mindfulness-based and Family Systems perspectives. I have also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method Couple's Therapy. I am happy to offer insight into creating your own meditation practice, as well. My main priority in counseling is offering a safe, inclusive space for my clients to practice authenticity with themselves in order to make positive changes in their lives. I believe you are intuitively aware of your own needs for growth and change, and I respect your expertise in the therapeutic process. Please feel free to reach out with questions!
