About My Clients
My clients are courageous people navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s trauma, anxiety, grief, or feeling stuck. Many are healing from painful experiences and want to reconnect with their true selves. I work with individuals who value a warm, nonjudgmental space where they can explore, grow, and reclaim their story at their own pace.
My Background and Approach
began my career in social work after earning my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee in 2001, then went on to complete my Master’s in Counseling from Tennessee Tech in 2009. Since then, I’ve been honored to support clients throughout the Upper Cumberland region. I co-founded Grove in 2013 to offer a holistic, welcoming space for healing. I’m certified in EMDR and incorporate Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, and Equine Therapy into my work. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in deep respect for each person’s unique story. I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to be vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and empowered. I view counseling not just as a profession but as a calling, and I feel deeply grateful to walk alongside others as they reclaim their stories and reconnect with their strength.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for people of all backgrounds, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe everyone deserves respect, dignity, and support on their healing journey. I’m open to conversations about spirituality and offer a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. For those who seek faith-based guidance, I can incorporate Christian principles into our work, respecting your individual beliefs and experiences.
