About My Clients
Many of my clients seek a safe, affirming space to explore intimacy, identity, or relationships. They may feel stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by shame. I work with adults of all genders and orientations who want to feel more authentic, empowered, and at ease—in their bodies, relationships, and lives. I believe healthy sexuality is a key part of overall wellbeing, and I support individuals and couples in exploring their desires, boundaries, and identities with curiosity and compassion.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a warm, collaborative approach grounded in sex-positive, trauma-informed care. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Nonviolent Communication to help clients explore identity, relationships, and personal growth. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients, those navigating intimacy or sexual concerns, and people healing from shame or disconnection. I offer a nonjudgmental space where you can reconnect with your values, desires, and sense of self. My goal is to offer a space where you can express yourself, along with the structure to get you moving toward what's most important to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a meditator, musician, cat fosterer, and book lover—organized at work, cluttered at home. I'm a straight woman amicably separated from my gay husband; we’ve practiced ethical non-monogamy for years. I share a home with our two young adult kids, both gay, one non-binary. I’m committed to creating a safe, affirming space for clients of all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I welcome learning from each client’s unique experience. I pursue ongoing learning to offer culturally competent, inclusive care.
