About My Clients
At Sunny Wellness of Honey, we work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, stress, overthinking, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, and emotional exhaustion. Our clinicians, including our therapist intern, also provide affirming support for ENM, polyamory, kink, and BDSM. Therapy is warm, individualized, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, understood, and equipped to make meaningful changes.
My Background and Approach
At Sunny Wellness of Honey, our approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and collaborative, individualized care. Our licensed clinician brings over 15 years of experience across long-term mental health, substance use treatment, and community-based behavioral health settings. Our therapist intern provides supervised support to adolescents, adults, couples, and clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, ENM, polyamory, kink, and BDSM. We balance structure with flexibility, meeting clients where they are while gently challenging thoughts, behaviors, and coping strategies that may no longer be effective. We view therapy as a partnership built on trust, empathy, respect, active listening, validation, and practical skill-building designed to support meaningful and sustainable change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At Sunny Wellness of Honey, we believe everyone deserves a therapeutic space where they can feel respected, understood, and supported without having to minimize what they are carrying. Our work is grounded in the belief that people are shaped not only by personal experiences, but also by family, culture, relationships, identity, expectations, and the environments they have had to navigate. We are especially mindful of the emotional labor, caregiving demands, societal expectations, and pressure many women experience, including the expectation to remain capable and composed even when they are exhausted. At the same time, we recognize that men also face significant barriers to emotional expression, vulnerability, and seeking support, and deserve space to address stress, relationships, identity, grief, and mental health without judgment. Our approach is trauma-informed and considers the impact of individual, relational, intergenerational, and cultural experiences on emotional well-being.
