I am trained in Mindfulness therapy approaches including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. With Mindfulness based approaches, I help you learn to tune into yourself on a deeper level and regain or strengthen that connection with your own inner resources which can help you feel more secure, confident, grounded and at peace.
No one treatment style fits all. I recognized this early on and have spent years learning and practicing a range of treatment approaches to help my clients overcome challenges. I find that using an integrative approach, which means using a variety of tools and treatment approaches, can help my clients even more. With an integrative therapy approach, therapy is flexible and we do what works for you!
I have been using CBT as a treatment approach for over 10 years to help people with many different issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and coping with stressful changes. I have created treatment programs at hospitals where I have worked to use CBT for social anxiety and changing negative thinking patterns. I tailor the CBT approach to my individual client so it will be relevant to you and your issues.
