Accepting Clients

Hi, there! I'm so glad you're here. I am a modern, fully-virtual therapist specializing in women, adolescents, families, and couples.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Columbia, MD

About My Clients

Are you a woman struggling to do it all, or a mom not enjoying the experience as much as you had hoped? Are you a parent hoping to strengthen your family? Are you a teen coping with anxiety and stress? Are you in a relationship that just isn't fulfilling you? Are you just trying to figure out what is going on and how you can feel better? Then I am here for you! I am a great match for anyone who has left therapy in the past disappointed because they were hoping for something more authentic.

My Background and Approach

I graduated in 2012 with my graduate social work degree from Case Western Reserve University and with my doctorate from Tulane University in 2024. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a board-approved supervisor. My professional background is quite varied and I have extensive experience working with children as young as three, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in a variety of settings, including non-profits, schools, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice, and with a variety of disorders and needs. I offer individual, relationship, and family therapy services, as well as parenting and coparenting support. My approach is person-centered and humanistic; I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I am attachment-based and work with clients to identify how their values can create a path forward. I am authentic, straightforward, compassionate, and hopeful. I use humor to build connection. I am LGBTQIA-allied, body positive, and sex positive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves access to high quality mental health care, but that our systems do not always make that easy. I do what I can to support access (including taking insurance). I believe that members of the LGBTQIA+ community deserve support from medical professionals who understand their unique perspectives and needs, so I participate in regular training to ensure I am ready to provide the best care possible. I believe science saves lives, all humans are worthy, and that women's rights are human rights. I support individuals with ADHD in dismantling lifelong masking and identifying how their own values can support a plan for moving forward. I believe that being a parent is the most beautiful and the absolute hardest thing I have ever done, and understand why some parents may not feel as good about becoming a parent as they thought they would. I believe the most powerful and meaningful part of my life is being trusted with my clients' stories.
