About My Clients
My ideal clients are teenagers, young adults, and adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or facing intense life transitions. With 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals—including athletes and LGBTQ+ folks—conquer performance anxiety, manage high stress, and build lasting resilience. If you are navigating an identity shift or feeling the weight of high expectations, this is a safe, collaborative space to find clarity and move forward with confidence.
My Background and Approach
With 20 years of clinical experience, I have learned that no two individuals handle stress, anxiety, or transition the same way. That is why I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. I actively adapt our sessions to meet your unique needs, combining the best of Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. By utilizing CBT, we will look at the underlying thought patterns driving your anxiety or performance blocks, giving you immediate control over your reactions. Through Positive Psychology, we shift the focus from what is "wrong" to unlocking your innate strengths and building an indestructible foundation of resilience. Finally, our Solution-Focused work ensures that you leave sessions with practical, real-world tools. You get a safe, collaborative, and forward-moving space where you can dismantle high expectations, claim your identity, and confidently navigate your next chapter.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion for this work comes from a very personal place. As a young adult, I spent years feeling completely lost, trying to figure out my own identity and direction. It was through my time working in education, youth mentorship, and athletic coaching that I discovered my true calling: building genuine, one-on-one relationships rooted in trust and rapport. Today, nothing brings me more joy than watching a client discover who they want to be and unlock the tools to get there. I believe therapy should be a relaxed, human experience, not a rigid or clinical interrogation. I lead with warmth, a collaborative spirit, and a heavy dose of humor. My office is a strictly non-judgmental, fiercely confidential, and affirming space. Whether you are an student under intense pressure or a member of the LGBTQ+ or other marginalized communities, I am passionate about helping you break through stigma, find connection, and discover your own unique strength.
