With over a decade of experience on both sides of the couch, my holistic and empathetic practice will help you to develop new ways of thinking, feeling, relating to others, and being in the world. My Background and Approach
My practice is LGBTQIA+* friendly and is informed by anti-racist practices that aspire to decolonize our bodies, minds, and spirits. I work in individual and group therapy modalities, with a focus on young people, couples, and families. I have a keen interest in creativity and, when appropriate, will make use of arts-based approaches in my work. As a professional with lived experience, I recognize that we are each on a mental health journey that involves challenging work, but we don’t have to do this work alone. You are worthy of that work. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our collective liberation and healing are inextricably linked. We can only hope to do this work together. I recognize that healing goes far beyond the individual, and extends into communities, systems, social structures, and historical narratives we are each navigating. I conceptualize of therapy as a form of reparations/reconciliations, and strive to create a fee structure that is equitable, sustainable, and humane for all people. In my dedication to anti-racist practices, I seek to radically confront and dismantle the dehumanizing presence of whiteness and white supremacy as they persist in our day-to-day lived experiences.
