My Background and Approach
As founder of Therapy for Adults and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, #92675, my intimate practice is located in the heart of West LA. My approach involves a strong investment in my client's emotional health and happiness. Working together, we prioritize issues, triaging the most pressing and painful issues first. Each client’s journey is different, and one that begins the moment you walk through the door. We work at a pace that is appropriate for your needs, establishing sustainable goals and milestones throughout your healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love working with clients invested in investigating and changing what isn't working for them. Keeping the tenets of my traditional training, I also incorporate humor, analogies (a client once described me as "the analogy king"), and focusing on the issues that brought you to therapy. I have a very full life outside of the treatment room, enjoying a life in the arts, hiking, music, and creating community events. My varied life experiences are an asset when helping relate to client experiences. I am skilled working with individuals and couples presenting a variety of issues and strive to be multiculturally informed.
