About My Clients
I support individuals from all walks of life navigating anxiety, depression, or transitions. I have a particular interest in men’s issues, providing a space to build resilience against societal pressures. As a former School Psychologist for 14 years, I also help families navigate the "alphabet soup" of IEPs and 504 plans. As a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, I provide telehealth and educational advocacy to clients in 40+ participating states. I'm here to help you move forward.
My Background and Approach
My approach blends 14 years of clinical expertise as a School Psychologist with practical, holistic advocacy. I offer a unique dual-perspective that most traditional therapists don't have, bridging the gap between mental health and systemic support. Assessment & Advocacy: I conduct specialized neuropsychological evaluations for educational purposes to uncover the "why" behind learning or behavioral challenges. These provide a roadmap for school-based support, including IEP and 504 plan development. Counseling Style: I combine evidence-based CBT with mindfulness practices and health coaching. I believe mental health is inseparable from physical well-being. By incorporating mindfulness, I help my clients—especially men facing high stress—develop tools to regulate emotions and respond to life’s challenges with clarity rather than reactivity. My goal is to provide a collaborative environment where we build a toolkit of skills you can use immediately to reclaim your balance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that true healing happens when we look at the whole person—mind, body, and the systems they live in. My practice is rooted in the values of inclusivity, authenticity, and self-determination. I am committed to providing a safe, affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds, genders, and identities. I believe that mental health is a right, not a privilege, and that everyone deserves a therapist who sees them as a person, not a diagnosis. Whether I am advocating for a student’s rights in a school meeting or helping a man navigate the complexities of modern masculinity, my goal is to empower you to live a life that is aligned with your own core values. I value transparency, humor, and the belief that while we cannot always control our circumstances, we can always build the resilience to navigate them.
