My Background and Approach
Dr. Macchione is a firm believer in the notion that no one school of thought in psychology has a monopoly on good ideas, and as such, he uses an eclectic approach that incorporates existential and person-centered perspectives with components of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Having worked in a variety of settings, Dr. Macchione is comfortable working with people at various stages in their problems.
