I work best with clients who are motivated for change and want to explore healing in a collaborative, affirming space. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as those navigating challenges related to mood, anxiety, trauma, identity, relationships, and sexual functioning. Many of my clients are seeking clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of self. If you're ready to do meaningful inner work, I'm here to support you. *I offer therapy from 8a-6p HI time and 12p-10p CO time.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and substance misuse. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, DBT, and MI, but I tailor each treatment to meet your individual needs. I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from university counseling centers to national crisis organizations—and bring a flexible, client-centered approach to care. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to grow, I’ll meet you where you are and support you in moving toward meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll build skills, deepen insight, and help you reconnect with what matters most to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer psychologist, I know how powerful it can be to have a space where you don’t have to explain who you are. I bring my lived experience into the therapy room—not as the focus, but as a foundation for creating a safe, affirming space. I’m passionate about social justice and equity in mental health care, and I believe healing is both personal and collective. Outside of therapy, I organize queer community events, collaborate with local artists, and advocate for inclusive mental health resources. I’m also deeply committed to elevating the voices of those who’ve been marginalized, whether that’s in research, clinical work, or community spaces. My goal is always to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered to live authentically.
