About My Clients
As a Clinician, I have worked with individuals of various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds who suffer from substance use, trauma, mental health conditions, and factors such as incarceration that have impacted individuals in improving their lives in becoming our best selves. I am here to support positive healthy changes in a safe, supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
I work with people who struggle with substance use disorders and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression focusing on individuals and families affected by these issues. We will work together to create a plan of care and work on achievable goals and healthy behaviors to improve your life and sustain healthy recovery. I have over 7 years' experience providing therapy to adults and families struggling with substance use disorders and mental health issues. I am licensed in MA, RI, and ME in private practice in Massachusetts at this time and use a strength-based approach in therapy sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian man and actively participate in a Men's Ministry that assists men with increasing their Christian faith and building a strong supportive community. I am the proud father of 2 sons and am currently pursuing my master's in social work at Rhode Island College. I am also a person in long term recovery and attend 12 step meetings supporting others in recovery as an active sponsor. I believe that everyone can heal from trauma, addiction, and mental health issues to live a healthy and productive life.
