About My Clients
I specialize in working with men. If you have experienced anxiety or depression, relationship challenges, trauma, boredom, loneliness, questions about your life or happiness, and want to have a counselor to walk with you in this part of your journey, I’m your guy. I myself have struggled with these challenges and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others through them.
My Background and Approach
I would love to schedule a free fifteen minute phone consultation to meet you. I have worked for five years at a behavioral health hospital and three years with individual clients. I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. I have immensely enjoyed walking alongside people and giving tools to help my clients heal and flourish. For my internships and practicums in graduate school, I worked in clinics specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT). Since graduation, I have been able to continue my training through learning Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma therapy, and Gottman couple’s therapy. All of these modalities have helped me expand my knowledge and practice in the field of clinical mental health. I firmly believe that people are made to flourish. I want to help you reach a place where you can feel confident, stable, joyful, and peaceful.
