About My Clients
I have worked with adolescents at an intensive outpatient program in San Francisco for the past two years and currently work with adolescents in a school-based setting and in private practice so I quite enjoy this population. I have engaged with both adult and adolescent clients humanistically who were managing trauma, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Stephanie is a mental health therapist in San Mateo Union High School District. She has two years experience working in a school setting with adolescents and their families. She has also worked with older adults in San Mateo County. Stephanie is a practical, humanistic, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients address life challenges. She integrates complementary approaches of psychotherapy, incorporating a variety of methodologies and techniques to offer what is most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
