About My Clients
Whatever brings you here – whether it’s exploring your identities, wanting to learn more about how your past impacts your present, or looking for coping skills to manage the ups and downs of living – you are welcome. I use an integrative and collaborative approach to create an individualized treatment plan. My goal is to provide support that fosters insight and promotes recovery.
My Background and Approach
Much of my experience is working with people of color (particularly within AAPI communities), women in male-dominated industries, healthcare workers and educators, and military service members and their families. I have extensive training in evidence-based, trauma-informed care for individuals and couples. I specialize in working with people navigating experiences of trauma, racial/cultural identity, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
How I show up as a therapist is deeply influenced by who I am as a whole person. In addition to my professional roles, I am an Asian American woman, daughter, sister, partner, and friend. I’m a therapist because I know firsthand how profoundly valuable it feels to have a space where I feel seen in all of these different roles. I truly love what I do as a therapist — together, we create space for you to show up fully in all that you are and inspire movement from where you are toward where you want to be. My approach to therapy is informed by social justice, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism, which means that I consider clients' healing within their unique cultural contexts and identities. I seek to honor ways in which you have navigated life resiliently and to co-create new ways of being that feel expansive and alive.
