About My Clients
We can often find ourselves feeling as though others just don't "get it." We can get caught up in the "why" when bad things happen to us. Do people often call you strong or resilient? Were you an "old spirit" as a kid or wise beyond your years? Trauma is unfair, it steals, breaks, and leaves a trail of hurt. Trauma can change us to our core and it's absolutely worth talking about. My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma because I have been through trauma. You won't have to worry about you sharing your story and being met with anything other than acceptance. I understand the moments of agitation because you feel misunderstood, I understand the moments of depression because it feels like such a lonely world despite it being full of people. I understand the feeling of not being worth it because you have so many "quirks." Finally, I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all tool and work to bring that to my own practice. I offer a journey of healing, self-knowledge, improved self-worth, and deeper understanding- not overloading you with a bunch of tools that sometimes help but don't lead to any other answers. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you have the ability to live the life you want. I believe you have the strength, ambition, and resilience, and want to get there. I also believe that there are things in life that offer more boundaries or obstacles that affect some more than others. Some of those things we are born with, some of those things were placed by government institutions, some were placed there by our own families or communities. I'll always stand with you to live the life you want, freely.
