I specialize in working with people who are struggling with past or current toxic relationships. Whether it is antagonism, manipulation, control, gaslighting, or other forms of psychological abuse, I aim to help build you knowledge on the tactics toxic people use and how to rebuild your strength and power when having to be around these types of people. I have taken multiple trainings on Narcissism and psychological abuse.

I specialize in working with people who are struggling from a wide range of depressive issues. I was previously certified in mood disorders (depression and bipolar) and have additional training on depression. Depression can be a standalone diagnosis, or it can be the result of maintaining relationships with toxic people due to them attacking your self esteem. I aim to provide you with education as well as coping skills to assist you with regaining more control over your symptoms.

Anxiety can be a standalone diagnosis, or it can be the symptoms of larger issues in your life, like maintaining toxic relationships. People who are struggling with toxic relationships and psychological abuse very often suffer from anxiety due to their feelings of "constantly walking on eggshells" around toxic people. I am to provide education and coping skills to assist in reducing your feelings of anxiety.

Mindfulness is a group of therapeutic techniques which aim to keep you in the present, the here and now. With many mental health issues, we tend to focus on the past or the future which causes us to lose the present. Mindfulness can include things like meditation, breath work, and sensory techniques.

CBT is the most widely taught, used, and researched psychological theory. CBT theorizes that many of our struggles are started within our thoughts, how we perceive things. Once we have a thought, our feelings, and our actions follow to support that thought. The thing is, not all of our thoughts are accurate, healthy, or appropriate.

SFBT is a type of therapy which is right in the name, brief. These session can range from 1 - 8 sessions and is highly goal orientated. By focusing on the solutions rather than the problems, one has the ability to assess what has worked for them in the past. The past successes are explored and possibly tweaked to encourage you to utilize your strengths.
