About My Clients
I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by expectations, relationships, or major changes and are looking for a supportive, practical approach to therapy that helps them feel more grounded and understood.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee practicing under supervision while pursuing my Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) designation. I am also a licensed School Counselor, which gives me a strong foundation in supporting teens, young adults, and families through stress, transitions, and emotional challenges. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, collaborative approach, meaning I prioritize safety, choice, and understanding how past experiences may be affecting what you’re dealing with today. I have recent training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps clients better understand emotional patterns and strengthen relationships. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, allowing me to support couples and individuals in exploring relationship strengths, communication, and meaningful growth. I work within a group practice that accepts many major insurance plans and aim to make therapy feel supportive, practical, and approachable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel seen, respected, and supported without judgment. I value inclusivity, cultural humility, and compassion, and I am committed to providing care that honors each person’s unique background, values, and lived experiences.
