About My Clients
From experience, as a mental health professional, clients are not 1 nor 2 dimensional. Clients are more than their DSM-V diagnosis or diagnoses. Clients have family, friends, work, setbacks, slip ups and disappointments. I provide the option for a different point of view, ideas and for you to tap into who you are. Consulting with your therapist gives clients the reassurance of a safe, supportive environment.
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach was crafted from over 10 years of client interactions. My approach draws influence from various therapeutic approaches, such as holistic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I believe partnering with you, my client on tailored goals and what you would like to accomplish. Whether your goals, are to reduce negative thoughts, develop more coping skills, adjustment concerns, managing anxiety, depression, emotions or you need to process certain situations in your life; I am here, your counselor.
