About My Clients
I help adolescents and adults, age 16 and up who are dealing with any combination of the following: anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, ADHD, disordered eating/eating disorders, and body image issues (or more accurately, internalized weight stigma). I particularly enjoy working with college students. I have immediate openings for those seeking remote therapy and a short waitlist for those able to meet in-person in the north shore area of Massachusetts.
My Background and Approach
Stephanie’s style is both warm and direct. Clients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing process. They will learn about coping skills with Stephanie in sessions and practice using them outside of sessions. She is skilled at helping clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress, supporting clients in committing to actions that resonate with their values and result in a reduction of avoidance behaviors, and assisting clients with nervous system regulation.
