About My Clients
I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, or a hard transition — a breakup, a move, a diagnosis, a career change, anything that's knocked your footing out from under you. Some people know exactly what's going on; others just know something isn't right, and that's a fine place to start too. I use CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches, but I don't run everyone through the same steps — we build the plan around what's actually happening in your life.
My Background and Approach
I earned my MSW at Tulane University and I'm licensed in North Carolina as an LCSWA, currently working toward full LCSW licensure under clinical supervision. I also hold an MBA, which shapes how I think about structure and follow-through in the work we do together. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy — I draw on evidence-based methods like CBT and ACT, adjusted to fit the person in front of me rather than a fixed script. Some sessions are practical and tool-focused; others go deeper into what's underneath. Sessions are available in person in Mooresville, NC, or via telehealth for established clients.
