About My Clients
As your therapist, it is my job to ease the therapy process for you by creating a non-judgmental and empathetic space for you. Many of the children and adults I work with identify that they have challenges communicating with others, feel misunderstood, experience periods of self-doubt, and want to develop a stronger sense of connectedness to their family and friends. When people begin to work with me, I want them to feel safe and validated.
My Background and Approach
Since each person is unique, my approach will always be tailored to meet your needs. My work is often surrounding intergenerational trauma, parent-child conflict, physical/sexual abuse, and relationship issues. Although all of these things can cause significant distress, I believe that everyone has the power within themselves to create change and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I like my prospective clients to know that I have a strong sense of connectedness to those people who value a plant-based diet. Due to my love of animals I have been a vegetarian for 15 years, and I currently volunteer at two of my local animal shelters.
