About My Clients
You are looking for someone to provide you feedback, actionable steps, direct ideas and thoughts on steps foward and to collaborate forward on creating a life that feels good.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2019, where I focused primarily on mental health stigma and expressive arts models. In 2018 I attended an intensive 6-month Life Coach Certification Program through Seattle Life Coach Training, accredited through the International Federation of Coaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to working with clients: I take a unique approach that centers on helping you to create empowering stories of your capabilities and ability to achieve your goals. Oftentimes people tell me that therapy didn't help them as they felt there was no progress. I absolutely know what that feels like and that is why I am committed to taking a different approach. By working together, we will have the opportunity to center our work on the present moment and powerfully move forward. For those people who feel a need to tell past stories, this is of course something there is space for in our sessions. As a whole, my approach focuses on consistently helping you to identify what support feels like to you and to advocate for that support inside and outside of sessions. As humans, we often get stuck in the same feelings and thoughts day after day. As a therapist and coach, my role is to help you interrupt, challenge, and change these repetitive ways of being so you can thrive.
