About My Clients
Let's talk about what brought you here. Things might be seeming rough right now. Maybe you are going through a lot of life changes at once. It might be accompanied with other challenges like emotional imbalance, grief and/or loss, pregnancy, birth or some other stuff that makes it hard to see the brighter days. My Background and Approach
I have advanced experience and training in a wide variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and perinatal (support during planning, pregnancy and postpartum) mental health with varying levels of severity. My previous experience includes, inpatient, outpatient and community based mental health. My goal will be to help you create a better quality of life using evidence based and solution focused techniques like mindfulness, EMDR, CBT and DBT to help you find relief in those challenging areas. The work will begin in session but in order for true results to happen, there will be changes that happen throughout the different areas of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that in order to reach people, we have to meet them where they are. I allow you to be the expert on your life, I assist you in finding what works for the challenges in your life to make things feel more manageable. During our work together my goal will be to help you create a better quality of life to help towards some of your life goals, feelings of stuckness, challenges, and life transitions. I am an action-oriented therapist that believes most of the healing happens when you make life changes outside of out therapy sessions.
