About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-discovery. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking a safe, supportive space to understand themselves, set boundaries, or create positive change. Whether you are a teen building confidence, a young adult finding direction, or an adult managing stress or big life shifts, I walk alongside you with empathy and openness to foster growth and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College (2024) and am a Provisional Professional Counselor working toward full licensure. My training and experience span community mental health, schools, and private practice, where I’ve supported clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I believe therapy is not “one size fits all.” I draw from DBT, Internal Family Systems, Reality Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to tailor each session to client needs. My goal is to help you build insight, develop tools for change, and connect with your most authentic self. Through a non-judgmental, collaborative approach, I provide space to feel heard and empowered, so that together, we can strengthen resilience and create lasting growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be inclusive, creative, and rooted in compassion. I warmly welcome clients of all backgrounds, ages, faiths, and identities, and I am committed to practicing from a multicultural lens. As an ally to LGBTQ+ communities and minority groups, I strive to create a safe, affirming space where everyone can feel seen and valued. My own life experiences—as a dancer, artist, wife, and mother—have shaped my desire to walk alongside others through both challenges and triumphs. I believe healing happens when we embrace authenticity, foster connection, and even allow space for humor. Outside of counseling, I remain deeply connected to the arts, often painting, drawing, and dancing—or enjoying old movies with my kids. No matter the stage of life, I believe we all have the capacity to grow, adapt, and rediscover our strength.
