About My Clients
I am very passionate about working with teens, young adults and adults surrounding concerns of anxiety, depression, life transitions and being the best version of themselves! A former member of University of Michigan's women's gymnastics team, I am also passionate about working with athletes surrounding fears, returning from injury, competition anxiety, overall performance and retiring from sport.
My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Michigan and my Master in Social Work (MSW) from Loyola University Chicago. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach focusing on mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and distress tolerance. I also use a person-centered, strengths-based approach as I believe identifying your strengths and finding the positives that will put you on the path to achieving your goals. One of the most important things in therapy is trust. I want you to feel comfortable working with me and know I am committed to helping you reach your goals. Getting started with therapy can be one of the most difficult aspects. Contact me so we can further discuss how I can help you be your best you.
